Here are my kids.  Currently I have 6 cats, and 2 dogs.  All were rescued from varying states of abandonment to near death. 

Gone but not Forgotten: Mozart left us at 18 years of age in May 2010, Bear was 16 when she passed away in May 2009.  Charlie passed away in Nov 2007 at the estimated age of 16.  Tigger died of a stroke at 15.  Peanut was a squirrel we found as an abandoned baby in Aug 2007 - he was with us until February 2008 when he was hit by a car.

Pinky is 17, Zwartje is 16, Faith is 12.  We adopted Maddie Lee in 2009 from the CT Humane Society.  She’s almost 4 years old.  Max was abandoned in the summer of 2009, in our neighborhood and is now a happy part of our family too.  We rescued Jackaroo with the help of the Arkansas Rescuing Unwanted Furry Friends (ARRUFF) organization. in Dec 2011.  Gretchen met Roo at the Southbury dog park and it was love at first site.  They are best buds.  Sophie is a sweet kitten we got from our vet.
